Wednesday, September 11th, 2019, 7:00PM at the new Kaysville Library

This Wednesday, September 11th, 2019 at 7pm at the Kaysville Library is the second meeting of the Coalition for Responsible Kaysville Fiber. I agree with all of the questions they bring to the table and need to slow down the headlong rush to massive debt and really analyze the information. I also fully believe people need a say, an actual voice at the ballot, when government wants to raises taxes.

I strongly urge you to attend this meeting!

Email transcript from Josh Sanders from the Coalition of Kaysville Fiber:

“Our goal is to show the City Council that we have a true coalition of Kaysville residents that would like to see the city pause, perform an independent comprehensive review, and provide full disclosure of Kaysville Fiber. Please share our website and ask your neighbors to sign up. Without your help, we cannot make a difference.

We are hosting another community meeting Wednesday, September 11 at 7:00 PM, at the Kaysville Library. We would love to see you there.

Kaysville City is hosting two public hearings. The first will occur on September 19 to discuss "Adoption of a telecommunications public utility fee" and the second on October 3 to discuss "Fiber Bonding". Both begin at 6:30 PM at the Kaysville City Parks & Recreation Center at 85 North 100 East.

Best regards,

Election Primary

August 14th, 2019

After the second day and another round of ballot tally updates we’re still at a steady 30% of the votes for the 2-year position!

I want to extend my deepest thanks to each one of you who’s voted for a non-politician such as myself. Thank you for believing in our chance to have a voice of logic and reason and reduced spending in our city council.

One more round of votes to come in the general election and we have until November to spread the word and tell our friends and neighbors. Thank you once again for being involved and concerned about the future debts.

July 26th, 2019

Something I should have posted from the beginning was a clear and public disclosure of exactly all expenditures and funding sources for my 2019 Kaysville City council campaign. It is very important to know who or what is funding any politician. Well, better late than never, eh?

Signs Have Arrived!

July 16th, 2019

Finally! Many thanks to all those who have reached out to me and believed in our opportunity to reign in and change the direction of the spending of our local city government.

Please let me know if you'd like a sign, or even just a pass-along card to share with your friends and neighbors, and I'd be happy to deliver it!

Kaysville Citizens for Responsible Government

Tuesday, July 9th, 2019

I have been invited to and will be meeting with the Kaysville Citizens for Responsible Government at 6:00 pm at the (new) Kaysville Library Conference Room.

I was told it will be a discussion about current concerns from citizens and the direction and the multitude of spending projects in our city.

God Bless America

July 4th, 2019

Thanks to all the veterans who were willing to ride with me. THANK YOU Kaysville/Fruit Heights (and anyone else who attended!) for your deep respect and patriotism. It touched the vets deeply. They appreciate you too.

Call For Veterans & Active Duty

July 3rd, 2019

Kaysville Independence Day parade starts at 10:00 am (yes, on July 4th, 2019). For the 9th year in a row I will have my 1972 AM General M35A2 in the parade. This is not a campaigning event. I do this of my own free volition, with my own time and money to honor local veterans past, present, and fallen.

I invite all local veterans or active duty service men and women to please come ride along with me. The whole community wants and needs to thank and honor you and those who cannot be with us. You are not forgotten.

Feel free to catch me at the breakfast (~8am) or by my truck before the parade if you'd like to meet the veterans, have your kids get pictures with with the truck (yes they can sit in the driver's seat!), or talk about what concerns you. I'll be near the intersection of 300 S and 500 E (just north of the high school tennis courts).

Interview with Randi von Bose

June 14th, 2019

I did a brief interview with Randi von Bose about my announcement of candidacy to for Kaysville City Council.

I thank Randi very much for doing these interviews for all City Council candidates! I'm positive it's no small amount of time invested in her part as a service to all citizens of Kaysville.
